PAthways Program

Meet the Mentors and Mentees

We are excited to introduce the participants selected to take part in our first PAthways Mentorship Program grant! This year, we have matched an inspiring group of 20 dedicated PA mentors and 32 aspiring pre-PA mentees.

Meet Our Mentors
Our mentors come from diverse backgrounds and bring years of experience, knowledge, and passion to the program. Each mentor is a licensed PA who has generously volunteered to guide, support, and inspire the next generation of PAs. They will be sharing their real-world insights, offering career guidance, and helping mentees navigate the complexities of applying to PA school.

Meet Our Mentees
The pre-PA mentees selected for this program are future healthcare leaders, eager to learn from those who have already walked the path they are about to take. These individuals are committed to pursuing their dream of becoming PAs, and through this mentorship, they will receive personalized guidance, support, and encouragement to succeed in their academic and professional journeys.

Regional Kickoff Meetings
To kick off this exciting program, we hosted three kickoff meetings for our participants located in either New York City, Washington, D.C., or Fayetteville, North Carolina. The kickoff events allowed mentors and mentees in each region to meet, connect, and discuss the goals for the months ahead. We are thrilled to see such enthusiasm and dedication from everyone involved!

What’s Ahead for Our Mentorship Circles
Over the course of this program, our mentors and mentees will connect both in regional groups (“Mentorship Circles”) and through one-on-one meetings. The program is designed to provide ongoing support, build relationships, and foster a sense of community within the PA profession. Mentors will offer advice, share career insights, and help mentees prepare for the challenges and opportunities they’ll face on their journey to becoming PAs. In turn, mentees will have the chance to ask questions, receive feedback, and gain the knowledge they need to succeed.
