Michel Statler, DMSc, PA-C, is a former surgical PA who worked in cardiac surgery, ENT, and neurosurgery before transitioning into academia. Over the course of her 30 years in PA education, she has worn several hats as an educator at PA programs at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL, as well as serving as staff for PAEA for three years. She has previously served on AAPA’s Education Committee as well as several leadership roles with the Physician Assistant Education Association to include president and chair of the PAEA Board of Directors.
