2025 Call for Nominations – Board of Trustees

The Physician Associate Foundation (PAF) Nominating Committee is seeking individuals to serve as members of the Board of Trustees. The incoming board members selected through this nominations cycle will serve a term beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2028.

PAF’s mission is to empower PAs to improve health through philanthropy and service. PAF seeks potential candidates with a diverse range of professional and volunteer expertise. Candidate attributes may include (but are not limited to):

  • Previous volunteer leadership experience
  • Enthusiasm for PAF’s mission
  • Ability to network on behalf of PAF within the PA community
  • Willingness to be highly engaged and active as a board member

Experience and relationships in the following areas are preferred:

  • Health equity and DEI programmatic funding
  • Corporate foundations (e.g. pharma, insurers, biotechnology, other healthcare industry partners)
  • Private foundations
  • State or regional funders
  • Law, policy, and government

NOTE: For PA candidates, AAPA membership is required.

Submission Requirements and Deadline

The PAF Nominating Committee must receive the electronic nomination form by February 24, 2025. The form includes the following sections/components:

  • Nominee information
  • Background/qualifications
  • Free response questions
  • File upload: current résumé or curriculum vitae
