“Being a part of the PA Foundation provides an opportunity to do more good – helping to advance care for all. As an advocate for patients, I’ve seen so many opportunities where the PA profession has helped bring health to the whole patient. I am pleased to help continue to build upon the great work of the Foundation.”
Angie Bricco combines her passions for science, health care, and helping others to serve as a public health champion. Currently, she is Head of Public Affairs and Patient Advocacy for Sanofi US General Medicines, leading advocacy and population health improvement initiatives for people living with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and awaiting transplantation. Her early interest in medicine led her to earn a B.S. in life science from Penn State University, a MBA from Saint Joseph’s University, and ultimately to pursue a career in pharmaceuticals. In her 27+ years with Sanofi, she fulfills her passion for helping others and is also serving on the American Academy of Family Physicians Foundation board and co-chair for the National Minority Quality Forum’s Diabetes Workgroup. Some of her key achievements include bringing the first conjugate meningococcal vaccine to the U.S market, creating sustainable healthy communities among the underserved, and advocating for equitable access to medicines and vaccinations to ultimately improve health.
