“It’s about paying it forward — we need to help the next generation. I was fortunate to have my parents assist me during PA school, but most do not have this.”
Gina Venditti, MPAS, PA-C, serves as vice president of the PA Foundation Board of Trustees. Gina started her healthcare career in 1994 as a physical therapist in South Florida at a 700 bed level 1 acute care hospital. She graduated from the University of Florida PA program in 2003 and has worked in numerous settings including hematology/oncology, emergency and primary care. In 2010 she joined CVS/MinuteClinic as a clinician. In the eight years since joining MinuteClinic, she has been a manager, an educator, a member of the clinical practice team designing and implementing clinical practice for the 3,000 providers at MinuteClinic, and most recently has been involved in CVS/MinuteClinic integration work with external partners.
Since joining retail healthcare, Gina has advocated for improved state regulations to advance the scope of PA practice to allow more PAs to join this healthcare setting, which has improved from four states to nine.
Gina resides in Tampa, Florida, and spends her downtime boating and enjoying warm weather activities.
