Discounts on medications not covered by insurance
RxSavingsPlus can be used for discounts on medications not covered by insurance—medications for diabetes, heart disease, birth control, smoking cessation, weight loss, hair loss, ED and more—and even on many medications for pets.

Save on visits to MinuteClinic®
, located inside select CVS pharmacies, is staffed by physician assistants and nurse practitioners, who are educated in the medical model to diagnose and treat illnesses. Patients can use the RxSavingsPlus card at MinuteClinic locations to save up to 10 percent on any regular-priced health service or screening not covered by insurance. (Maximum savings of $10 per person, per visit.)

How it works

Visit the PA Foundation/AAPA RxSavingsPlus homepage to print a prescription discount card and start saving right away! Only one card is needed per household. Participants present their card to the pharmacist when they purchase a prescription not covered by insurance. They will always pay the discounted price offered through this program or the pharmacy’s retail price, whichever is lower.

Note: This is not insurance. Discounts are available only at participating pharmacies.
